A MOONLIT RHAPSODY

A night of white satin drapes the earth’s crust

Laced it is with a crochet edge of fine silvery dust

Woven fine with an argent filigree of newfound lust

The world she inhabits is strewn with cosmic stars

As moonlight glitters amidst sparkling flowers

Douching the wandering lady in moonbeam showers

The once placid sheet of silver now glimmers new fires

Alluringly rippling under the moon’s ardent desires

Reflecting on its waters those buried passions now afire

Diamond edged lashes veil her love that gloriously blooms

Her being quivers moist, sparkling silvery white and cool

She ambles, satiated, drenched in the joy of the new moon

It is burnished like silver, and protects her like lead

That radiant Silverdust, which his love has spread

And runs through her veins like a potent love thread
