Stars above dark skies make
beautiful light
But ever wonder if they’re eyes watching in the night
High mountainous peaks landscaped in the grand
Inside rock golems dwelling in their den
The deep sea and blowing waves seem to be peaceful
If there’s a Loch ness monster sleeping just below
If the bright round moon shine its cooling rays
Why wolves and hounds are howling pathetic bays?
The billowing trees rustle as they dance
Perhaps they’re tree spirits performing a trance
Down to the jetty, boats tied to buoys
May contain load of ghosts singing as they play
Deserted streets at night often streetlights dim
Once a while may see a spectral moving without limbs
And at the graveyard where all rested in peace
Erupted some living dead who claim they’re not appeased
Lock your room, sleep tight, and think of them no more
Perhaps the monsters under your bed won’t bother you at all!
