My Poetry-2

There’s poetry swirling inside me

Words tethering on the edge of my tongue

Lines rhyming inside my head

Phrases doing a mad swirl!

I write on napkins, I write behind bills

I write when I am moving, I write when I am still

Anything can inspire me

And drive me to put pen to paper

The weather, people, sunshine

Or naughty clouds and their capers

Sometimes it could be just a smile

That inspires reams and reams of rhyme

Or at times for just a word you are stuck

And to complete the poem you pine

I wonder often if being poetic

Is a blessing or a curse

Coz just between the two of us…

I have started talking in verse!!!
