I
WISH...
I wish she would
see the beauty,
The sweet moonlight
Sleeping on the dune hills
Joy in these things
Abound rather than the noise
Of common cares that crowd us.
Ah, the music of rhythmic tide
The floor of heaven rings
bright with the jewels, glowing
Only immortal souls hear it,
And play beneath the gates
The smallest orb moving slowly.
Casting light upon our place,
The taste of the briny sea
Soft sandy ground.
I wish she could see.
