BEFORE GOD SAYS "ENOUGH!"


A huge, heavy twine
Throttles the just cries of humanity
With incessant cruelty…
Sometimes with noble Graham on fire,
Sometimes with the ravishing of an infant girl,
Sometimes with senseless, fanatical genocide,
Sometimes with the blasting of innocuous marketplaces,
Sometimes with the grounding of the twin towers---
  Yet at all times…enraging our own Almighty.

The pinnacle of modernization achieved,
The world’s receding to decadence…man’s
More debauched than ever before
How foolish of us---Homo sapiens
To assume we’ll surpass God in His power!!!!
How audacious of petty mortal humans
To take His patience for resigned permission!!!!

Doom’s on its way……..
Walking with small, confident strides
Still allowing us time…
To repent, and to reform
Our plagued habitat.

Yet the fools continue
To spoil it all…
Subjecting God’s much loved Creation…
………To eternal damnation.
