A Winters Morn

As the sun rose the sky
became an opaque blue.
Venus said good bye,
and disappeared from view
The icicles began
to drip, and splatter
as the birds began
their early morning chatter
It is another midwinters day
but it wont be long before it's spring,
and the lambs begin to play
