A PRAYER FOR YOU

Prayers
travel fast
faster than
a ray of light

I did pray
so that you could
come to me
faster
than the ray of light.....

I could not get the light
coming back
as my prayer went
unanswered

I prayed again
for the prayer to move
faster than the speed
of light

and it was then
I realised
to my delight
you were with me

because
God knows, that
my prayers are incomplete
likely to come back
unanswered
unless you join me
in my prayers..

I pray to God
to let me pray
with you on my side
come , whatever may...! !
