of like minded souls
Among friends who are tuned in
with similar interests and goals
Sharing unshrouded thoughts
convictions and feelings
Receiving exposure, encouragement,
confidence and healing
Read-meets are forays 
into an unshackled world
Where our thoughts fly and resound
with every wing unfurled
Instead of being set afloat
from a lonely distant shore
Wondering if they would ever
reach anyone's door
