Come, learn…

My silence asks you,

my love,

come learn the language

of my liquid eyes

Come unravel

and decipher

the mysterious quiet

of these pursed lips

They whisper wordlessly

into the winds

escaping as velvet sighs;

Come comprehend--

what the sudden sweep

of my lashes sing,

read the tremors

as they swish and sway

Their depths beseech,

my darling, please do,

discover what heaves

beneath this apparent calm

as you drown in their

seemingly cool depths,

Come and explore

This world as yet unexplored…

They have revealed

all there is ,my love

have implored and offered,

and so now I can only say,

come my love,

come, learn to translate

all that I have so long

woven into my silent murmurs…
