Lord!
With the stars and skies
And the beauty of the sea
This world would have been nice
If you have not created me
You made the grapes for wine
The trees for fruits and shade
You made the stars to shine
But what for was I made?
When you had carved the lands
And adorned them with the sea
With your wonderful hands
Why did you create me?
The deer's can jump and dance
And the birds can sing for you
The flowers can make garlands
But what is it that I can do?
Without wars and cries
Boundaries and blockade
This world would have been nice
If I had never been made!
For desires, lies and greed
And the birth of every sin
Lord! I am indeed
The point of origin!
Without the tears from my eyes
And sorrow pain and burdens
This world would have been nice
With only trees and gardens
With birds and butterflies
Sans all caste, creed and race
This world would have been nice
With only nights and days
There is beauty in the breeze
And the dance of the lovely trees
There is fragrance in the air
And beauty everywhere
The summer, winter, spring
And the lovely birds that sing
The silent clear blue skies
And the little stars are nice
In such a beautiful world I see
Lord! why did you create me?
Why did you create me ??
