LOCKER ROOM SHARING

Every afternoon I wait anxiously

For someone to knock on my window

So I can spill my bubbling glee

And savour the sound of your name

Just like the girls in a locker room share

The fascination that them overwhelms

Giggling shyly, with eyes glowing

I too long to relive each emotion I feel

For within me powerfully churns your love

And swirls with such overpowering passion

Splashing forth, raging to tip the scales

Till unknowingly I am giddy in its spin

Oft like teenagers you and I banter

Laughter suffusing our tender exchange

A bystander once marveled at the innocence

Of what we share in this world of jaded souls

I have no insecurities where you are concerned

For it is not as a body that I would you meet

Bare soul I have long stood before you my love

What more can I ever hide from you after this...
