UNCHARITABLE THOUGHTS

You're well-liked by everyone
But I stand a thorn
If they put you on a pedestal
I'd drag you on coal

They swoon under your benign smile
But I think you are smug
You mesmerize with your powerful aura
But I know this is all humbug.

With your royal parentage
You enjoy feudal loyalties
You make mockery of democracy
Norms are bypassed to shower you with niceties

Why should you be always the big brother?
Why should we be the perennial minnows?
Yes, I am jealous and unashamedly so
I grudge the good luck you have been bestowed
