THE RAIN

The rain falls in a graceful mist
That earth bound lovers can’t resist
For as the rivulets form a stream
So do lovers mold their dream.

The warm sweet soil seems to sigh
In ecstasy as clouds pass by
And so do humans, born by chance,
Find fulfillment in romance.

Those wistful clouds of morning rain
Will surly pass and finally wane.
Then too, will life find it’s extreme
And flow as one on life’s great scene.

But while rain flows, the heavens smile
And after rain, the sun’s warm guile,
May conjure forth as lovers do,
A sky the shade of rainbow blue.

Bright flowers make the most of rain
And life, my dear, is quite the same.
Live it well and sweet with cheer
And like the earth, hold your love near.

Rain drops are angel’s tears on earth,
Each one of it’s own true worth,
So loves are never quite the same
But all are lovely, like the rain.
