IT'S MY DAY, IT'S MY YEAR!

 

Oh how the years have flown

It's another world with that M word

So okay, there are hot flushes

And there's an 'added' me to boot

 

But I have grown in mind and will

Tho I love to giggle still

And while my feet ache to dance

I've learnt to impress with a glance

 

Still life is good, I know myself

Much better than that younger self

And I don't worry about what others say

I'm intent on giving my best today
