I Too Try ...

A delicate velvet petal
of a thought
floats gently by

To capture its
every silken nuance -
a poet is bound to try

And to recreate
the entire flower
by and by

before its beauty
disappears forever
from his mind's eye

With words
on paper
I too try ...
