Iraqi Freedom?

They came to free us,
So they said,
And free us they did:
From our homes
From our loved ones
From our very way of life.
Instead of rape, imprisonment, torture and death
At the hands of a dictator,
We got rape, imprisonment, torture and death
At the hands of the liberators!
They defended their homeland
By invading ours
And were outraged
When we defended
Ourselves.
In our anguish, we cry
Ya Allah! Who will free us
From this emancipation?
Still we wait
For the answer.
