Someone asks me
why
why?...oh! why
don't I
send a gift your way
on this Valentine day

Tell me
having given my heart away
a Heart that
brims with love for you
beats in rhythm
with yours....

How can
a Balloon
howsoever Heart shaped
and cute
ever be the same

How
the three eternal words
oft spoken today
can ever compare
to the
fountain of love
that springs into life
every time
I look into your eyes

Yet
I love this day
for
it gives me a chance
to say
what I always wished
to tell you
but was always too shy
to say.............
HAPPY VALENTINE DAY
