DUMBO

Someone around,
Cannot distinguish.
Between pain & anguish,
Also in the sound
of
Pulmonary bleeding,
And pleading.

Launches a battery-de-dart
Aimed at a clump of
Blood-pumping muscles
Called “Heart”.

The last one from the vice,
Strikes the heart twice.
On anterio-posterior walls,
But then, in a vicelike grip,
The dart stalls.

Seeing this through and through hole,
Smiled in pain, a satisfied soul.
From the treasure cove
Someone had launched
These darts of love.

Why should I plead?
Let the bloody heart
……………..bleed.
