THINKING OF YOU

- If the walls could testify,
 they would tell you
that they have often found me
 staring at them.
- If the curtains could speak,
 they would perhaps tell you
that they have often found me
 smiling on my own,
when I have been in deep sleep.
- If the crumpled pillows
 were to lodge a complaint,
 they would probably do so
against me, preferring charges
 of holding them so tight,
 at times
they could  have been suffocated.

If this curser could pause
 on the monitor,
for taking a breather,
it might look up at you and wink.
And to think of it,
 all this is just because
I keep on thinking of you
whenever I am alone in my room.
