The Walls Within

THE WALLS WITHIN

The silence that started out
(quite a long time ago)
in the distant walls,
now engulfs the whole
of my being.

Or is it just that the walls
are closing in,
and the silence ricocheting
all the more ?
Are the walls closing in ??
