ONCE AGAIN

Once again
I am out in the dark
Responding to stars
Beckoning me
Once again
The cool breeze touches me
Causing me to
Shudder

Once again
I light a cigarette
Only to find
Someone pull it out
Of my fingers

Once again
I feel a fire smouldering
The ashes being
Stirred, by a long sigh
Which I identify
as mine
once again
I find myself away from you
Calling out your name
In the valley of loneliness
Only to find echoes
Of my name
Being softly whispered by you

Once again
I feel the tall Pine trees
Pining under the snow
The skies overhead smiling
In the Sun's afterglow

Once again
I can hear your soft footsteps
Coming to me
I  can see  your eyes
Lit up with joy
I can feel your open arms
Inviting
Looking so coy

Once again
I shall be with you
A part of you
Every fibre of my being
Being touched by your soul
As only you can do
