DUALITY

Is it possible to die?
and yet to live,
with one hand take,
yet with the other give?

Is it possible for a heart to burst?
and keep beating within,
overt with pleasure,
yet latent with pain?

Is it possible to burn?
while remaining static,
volatile with energy,
unwavering yet erratic?

Is it possible to sense?
then enunciate or emote,
vocalize in silence,
in communication yet remote?
