Driving
home

End of day's work and I'm relieved to go home
Started my car with a silent prayer !
God deliver me through these treacherous roads !
Keep me away from those metal monsters !
Give those drivers some sense of direction god !
coz they wildly aim at the direction that they want to go to
Honking like a hippo in the height of her heat
Little do they consider the schools and hospitals across !
They think Zebra crossings are only found in the circus
And Traffic lights be jumped ( practice for the next Olympics ! )
Playing robbers and cops is a common sight
Four letter words, most pleasantly exchanged !
No slowing down , to look carefully at the intersection
No signals right or left , or let pedestrians go across !
blocking the path both sides left and right
No bread butter jam this, but only traffic jam !
I've started quiet early, not sure when I'll reach home
God give me the strength to keep my sanity !
Want to be a better person, not join the road race !
So give me more patience, and reach me home safe !
