AT THE TEMPLE

If only you could see him at the temple,
sitting like a child cross-legged on the ground,
radiant…lotus-blossom palms turned upward,
a sphere of silence and harmony around him.

The innocent smile, his Buddha nature,
inherent and apparent, can be found
responding to angel voices no one else heard.
Unknown even to him such blessings abound!
