A Little Journey

A Little Journey !

I took a little journey from this real world of mine,
To a land where love and romance was a plenty !
The landscape was a canvass of green
The brilliance of sunshine everywhere !

A pretty lake, cotton candy clouds,
Butterflies, birds, and honey bees !
And as I walked by, through this beautiful place !
I saw her, as she gently passed by !

My heart did a summersault, for it was she !
She was the one who always came in my dreams !
Heart warming eyes, and a smile so nice
Her hair , reflecting the sun's rays !

I felt she would be , all that I wanted
Loving , caring , affectionate, and kind,
Some who'd be my rock of Gibraltar !
An anchor to stabilize my boat if it rocked !

A mosquito was all it took to realize !
Oh what a nice little dream that was
I'm back to where I really am
The landscape is a canvass of grey !
