A NEW JOURNEY BEGINS
Yet another journey has begun
A new destination I must reach
A mass of humanity moves in unison
Faces gleam under the morning sun .............
Each one lost in their thoughts
Seem to move but like robots
They know they have no choice but to run
Long lost the days when they had some fun.....
Like a tedious pilgrimage long pending
One point to another seems never ending
Even though I ache to reach his abode
I wonder if it really would be end of the road.....
No, it would be a moment to ring in
When my next new journey would begin
Yet another journey has begun.....
A new destination I must reach.
