Why should I be sad?

There's lots of sorrow in the world,
absolute joy probably no one had.
Every person has some troubles.
but are they all sad?

There's scarcity of something for everyone,
everyone can choose to be tear-clad.
Still, they can't give up trying to smile,
but are they all sad?

There's life beyond sadness,
it's not really tough to be glad.
No one gives up their present for the past,
so why should I be sad?

I can always smile at those memories,
of the wonderful moments we had .
I've decided I'll always be happy now,
why should I be sad?
