SPARKLE WITH DELIGHT

Before the fireflies beam at night,

There the fairies with delight

Fly with them upon the wind

To the city known as Jin.

Floating on the clouds so light,

Great gothic spires of brilliant white

Reach still more

Toward heaven's door

And beacon those in flight.

And there the wind chimes tinkle do

And hearten little fliers who

By the dawn

Shall be gone

With wings and hearts anew.

There the princess, of holy light

Will touch each little soul of night

With her scepter while in flight,

And they will bow and glow most bright

Then quoth the princess at the sight

"Fly away, fly away back to the land

And bid the people understand

That magic still lives in the heart

As flutters fireflies fragile art."

And at last when they return

and the city floats it's way

The fireflies and the fairies to

    will nap upon the day

Then sparkle with delight for you

    when evening comes to find

The fireflies and the fairies

    who come again to shine.
