Into little pieces, with heart broken,

and eyes shedding tears, and red.

I prayed to God for you,

and told him how I bled.

 

I told him of you,

of how you're so easy to love.

And the story of my love for you,

though he would've seen from above.

 

He told me there are people,

who leave, leaving us cold 'n' alone.

Leaving tears in our eyes,

from our lives they're gone.

 

He said its sad,

to love and not be loved in return.

But love doesn't come with this promise,

he told me I'd still to learn.

 

He asked me to make a wish,

and he'd make it come true.

I'm a hopeless fool in love,

and told him I wished for you...
