My joy knew no bounds

As I failed to utter

All the proper sounds

But a laughter soft

Escaped before I could sigh

On hearing your “hey”

I couldn’t say a resounding “hi”

My happiness pill

Thee I mischievously called

Blissful was I, as you me thrilled

The echo of your cough

Which you tried suppress

Escaped, as you too laughed

At all I abundantly expressed

Come now to this land

That has long been your dream

To fulfill which is, in your hands

We shall walk the streets

Though crowded they be

Feel the warmth

No matter how cold it maybe

Oh! do come my dear

For it is not your dream alone

It resides in me too so clear…
