FORGOTTEN CHILD

Who is this boy?
Left on the side
Forgotten
On life's road.

Dreaming to be someone
In tattered clothes
Matted Face
Ripped skin

His world was destroyed
Horror story past,
He wanted loved.
Given attention,

Simple
Understood.
But so important
Not cast aside.
