CHAGRINED, ONE DAY...
Oh! You have stolen my poetry And left me bereft and vacant, Stand I now sterile, desolate Shamefully poor and pillaged
My pain and my ecstasy you stole My longing, my search simply stalled While you promised me nothing, left I Was with wanting nothing to hold at all
So an overflowing empty fulfillment Which surrounds and me restricts Do I search wildly while I search not For you stole my soul, but kept not it
Mechanical, robotic have I become With eyes locked to a never ever hope Why did you steal my poetry tell me, And leave me only with…this…
