Wind in
Her Hair

Whirling and twirling the wind wound its fingers,
Entwining in its silken mesh
The soft brown tendrils ignited to the caress,
And whipped forth a tender blush.
The radio crooned out old love songs
While she blissfully sang along,
Lost in a hazy, soothing world afar,
Tenderness flirting blatantly with her mouth.
Suddenly laughter brimmed forth and tumblers broke aloud
As she sped past him and away,
Caught unaware, the man in the adjoining car,
Didn't know how to handle this sudden blaze
The face he glimpsed was plain and pure
But embers glowed molten in her eyes,
Abandonment swayed wild in her voice and song
So he just couldn't help from driving along.
To lose sight of this apparition,
Was something he just couldn't do
For out of that rainy, misty, cold morn,
A Woman had suddenly come through.
