One person no different from the other
Families of people with sisters and brothers
The founding fathers wrote and even more
From Washington to Lincoln as in, "four score."

Prejudice, hate and even fear
Tries to creep in and destroy those who are so dear
Each time a new person comes on the scene
From Kennedy to King; with their wonderful dreams.

We keep asking why they come and go before their time
To help a people out of prejudice and fear to climb
How many times will there be a leader to sing
Will there be an end to presidents and Martin Luther King?

Will we end up destroying because of this prejudice and hate
How much longer can we endure and what is to be our fate
We are truly a melting pot of people who truly love life
The time is now to join together and end the strife.
