Kernels of Truth

God created the universe and left it in place
Those that needed one were given a bright shining face.

Everything given life has an appointed hour
The fullness of a being as in the bloom of a flower.

Imagine within the original universal thought
Life was the premise and all else to be sought.

Timely earthly scenes etched in our memory to keep
To touch and kiss each blessed child before they sleep.

Time for toil and time for fun
The gift of time on loan to everyone.

Life is time we cannot refuse
Content not as important as to how it was used.

At the end our mind will open to reveal
Did we give to another or did we do evil and steal.

Those responsible for the many and given a title to lead
Only to protect and provide for life that emerges from the seed.
