I am but a blank
face
Without you my destined love
No features does it reveal
It is just a bland visage of fluff
It is as if a veil white, colorless
Does swathe me from tip to toe
No life within, no sparkle thereby
Just a shroud concealing little that's worthwhile
My words have no meaning, my love
If you be not a part of my world
Inane babble, insistent and harsh
They spout out, ceaselessly, and I suffer
The wind in my hair, the sun on my face
Entangles and causes knots and burns
But if you had been, they would surely be
Passion and balm for my every breath u see
Where are you my love,
You, whose glance is light of life for me
Which illuminates from within, makes me glow
And banishes those shadows that surround me so
Where be you, my love
To shatter that coffin which confines me frozen
Stir feelings in my lifeless form so that it breathes afresh
As I slowly disintegrate with emotions long suppressed
Every word I speak of you my love
Does reveal my longings deep and old
I yearn to live with you in the storm and calm
If only you would be there holding me till dawn
Come my love soon, I wait here since eternity
Blindly working, living, existing along
Firm in my belief that you be there
Somewhere, yearning and searching for me too.
