Departure |

|
Console me God when
I lose a loved one
Allow me to accept it as; "your will was done"
Let not the loss produce anger and lasting sorrow
But wisdom and knowledge to reflect on tomorrow.
Let my belief in what you have given to me
Will be given life and love again to feel and to see
They will always occupy a part of my heart and mind
Firm in my belief that it is you they will find.
Though it appears that their life was not complete
The purpose of departure not to leave but to greet
Let them come to you as they came to me
A child to be loved my beautiful baby.
A child they were and a child they are
Accompany them on the journey and be it not too far.
And throughout my remaining years
When remembrance brings on the tears
Be it for the gift and for them I have no fears.
