LOVE SONG

So many songs written about love,
and it is yet, the most debilitating,
and ludicrous of all emotions,
only fantasy it helps in facilitating.
For it makes one not strong,
but weakens destroys and erodes,
the human spirit, takes away all grit,
and on the soul a burden loads.
It is indifference and shunning of,
all desires that truly makes the soul,
more powerful as all energies,
abound in concentrating in their chosen role.
And are determined in,
forcing the mind to be rational,
and logical,
no time for afflictions silly or farcical.
He who needs this softness of falsehood,
needs must also prepare to fall and stay,
in love not rise, not be embraced but entombed,
in its galling putrid decay.
