Dear Love, I still remember that day
When your wondrous eyes first glanced my way
And in that moment as time stood still
You just took my breath away

Dear Love, I still remember that night
When your wondrous eyes were alight
And I thought I saw Passion's flickering flame
You said, "Its love for you that burns so bright".

Dear Love, I still remember how 
Your wondrous eyes pledged a vow
"For Better or worse I take thee hence
To love and cherish for ever and now"

Dear Love, through each tumultuous year
Your wondrous eyes overcame my fear
Of what life may have in store for me.
It matters not, as long as you're near.

Dear Love, one day when its time to go
And your wondrous eyes cease to speak anymore
Remember that. with you I too must go
'Cause to live without you is to live no more
