We Are Of This World
The past has used up their time and the present is
to move on
Our being to protect and nourish all the children and that is not wrong.
The young need an architect and one to speak now and then
Time is for today and tomorrow to prepare them, for their time of when,
For too long they have waited and often have been denied
Who speaks for me and my time; their soul has often cried.
When do I get my chance to contribute and perform
I also need a purpose and reason for being; why else was I born?
My time should not be a reflection of your time and little more
I also have been gifted with a mind to think and use, as my own door.
I know I love you for you look just like me
The vision is clear as I can use my mind, eyes, and touch, you see.
My brother's and sister's according to their own time
We are the work of human hands and each has their own unique mind.
As earthly beings we are related by this time and this place
The same God creator who gave us the beautiful and handsome face.
Time will not wait but has been destined to move on
To believe and accept today and tomorrow as one; is not wrong.
