UNBORN CHILD
Do you hear my calling my child,
Somewhere lurking in the glory
Is thy presence that calls me,
I think of you and your eyes sees me
In the emptiness of a silent moment,
You are there somewhere,
You are loved and prayed
Above my life,
In the preciousness of your calling,
I listen to you
As you play around me
In the widening of my thoughts
Where you rein,
My unborn child,
Life is a celebration of thy presence,
I shall wait unto centuries
And defy anyone that stands between us,
When the wait for you shall be graced
By your physical presence,
Your presence lingers though
In the unseen,
When the eternal wait shall bring in the reward,
And I shall be blessed when you attain life,
The flicker of which I see in your mothers eyes,
My unborn child,
I crave to hold you,
But the pain for your wait
Shall bring utter sweetness
By your presence,
Love for you is like a
Sudden awakening in the night,
When your calling wakes me up
And I long to play with you
In the emptiness of a long night,
But you are here somewhere
When thoughts attain sudden tenderness,
In the careful holding of a newborn
In the compassion of a glistening eyes
You are mine,
I shall wait for you
When my empty arms
Are filled in your forever presence.
