The year full of Days!

As I say goodbye to the 2002
I try to recollect what did I do
I stood at the balcony
Gazing deeply at the sea
Counting days from January
What did I do, let me see!

I let go the past
And welcomed the new
Days passed by
And so did my resolutions went unnoticed!
I realized this year was not different in any ways
It was just a year, full of days!!

I wrote poetry- I remembered you
I learnt cooking - I made a special dish for you
I studied really hard - I wanted to prove myself to you
I realized, everything I did, I did it for you!!

So how could this year be similar to those gone past
This year is something, which would forever last
This year was not just full of days
It was the year to remember you in different ways!!
