Shadow

Walking by the seawaves
One heart beating
But two bodies move,
Is the other one
An extension of my body
Or the darker side of myself,
Or is he my shadow
Filled with the pains of the past,
Where gloomy thoughts
Woven in all black
Finds its expression in my shadow
Imprinting the agonies of tumultuous past,
Will the shadow fly away
To another kingdom of my ardent desire,
Searching for moments of happiness,
Where thoughts wont be razed by fire,
Is shadow an extension of unfulfilled dreams?
Or truth in ghastly acceptance of my mortality,
He is the shadow,
Is his life the life of a fallen hero
Or a personality trying to achieve unity in himself,
Is he a part of me?
Or a person who is different from me
Can we become one again?
Where do i hide his lonely movements
Or is he a soul released from my body.
