Predictable

The past was for then and not much more
A future is to prepare and open a closed door
As the present is for the living, and that is what it is for.

Yesterday was for them as today is for us
The truth revealed in the phrase; "in God we trust"
So also proven int the words; "ashes to ashes and dust to dust

Mother's and Fathers of the past and those of today
To protect and provide for the children and help them along the way
Therein lies the secret of our future; by what they do and also what they say.

The obvious and simple have always been here
Life is not complicated or difficult but only to beware
As inside your mind is what you seek for God placed it there.

The contents of yesterday lose their meaning and way
Those of value placed in our memory for a special day
Evil has no home but perpetually to wander and go astray.
