Past

When shadows unwind
In the pale glimpse of life
In the faint glimmer of a cold morning,
The breath will fight
So long as there is life
Learning and growing
In the quest from darkness to light,
Clouds might conquer the sky
Hurl torrents of rain on the earth,
Threaten the winds through the lightening,
But seasons of nature unveil the laws of life
That the conquerer becomes the captured,
That the hunter becomes the hunted,
Rainbow brings the hope through the long silence
Giving rise to the thoughts
That colours of life will put an end to this mourning,
The gift of the present is robbed by the yesterday,
Where thoughts linger, not yet ready to let go,
Lost in the myriad depth of life,
Eyes are looking ahead but the thoughts looking back
Inhibiting the eyes to draw from the present,
Drawn from the history of ones life,
Like the thoughts searching for changes
In the broken pieces of glass,
Searching for reflections through the retrospect,
That has now become antique,
Valuable treasure in an intangible form,
Keep walking ahead thou traveller
But let not the thoughts to be with your former life,
Draw the freshness from it, but rhyme to your present,
For things become history every second
And hopes blossom when seeds of present
Shall sprout the future,
Veil the ancient times when they hurt you
For they are gone, don't let the future
Bow to your past, for the eternal painter has painted
And the dead are the dead, but breath remains now,
But breath remains now.
Time has elapsed closing a chapter,
But the pages keep moving,
But the pages keep moving.
