Merry Xmas



Another year has passed

And we are facing 

Another New Year

Maybe we can

Say a silent prayer

To the unfortunate

The down trodden

The little man

Who struggles

To make ends meet

And maybe 

Another sober prayer

To those who

Destroy our 

Environment

Our natural life

Flora and fauna

And pray for peace

For those war-mongering

Countries around the globe

And finally for our own

In our beloved Guyana

For the end of violence

And peace between 

The major races

And maybe 

Reflect on our selves

And ask if we 

Have made a mark

And if not try to do

Better next year

Especially to our beloved 

Ones, relatives and friends

Merry Xmas to all
