Now, this news doesn’t please me too much,

I really wonder why.

When faced with a 40kg woman

I do feel like a blimp

If she looks like she’s survived a famine

I look like the one who’s caused it!!!

What is happening to this world?

Why is everyone going so thin?

People don’t enjoy their food anymore

Eating has become the eighth deadly sin!

Though Ruben’s & Botticelli paintings

Would certainly not be me

But Kate Moss and Twiggy

Is what I can never be!

In a world full of straight lines

Like a sore thumb I stick out!!

My curves make me different

Oddly I stand out!!

Bones are always ‘inside’ the body

Is what I grew up to believe

Now they are on the ‘outside’

To be flaunted and to be seen

Eat your vegetables, drink your milk and

Go out and play

Those were the words we grew up hearing

In out childhood days

‘Anorexia’,’ Bulimia’, ‘Atkins Diet’

Are now the words to use

So many health disorders

So difficult to choose!

Eat healthy, enjoy life and cultivate good health

For haven’t you heard of the adage

‘Health is Wealth’?
