By silence
Silence of petals..
Dropping down from the flowers
Silence of stars
as they look at each other
so near and yet so far....

Silence
Of dew drops
On flowers
As the petals unfold
Silence  of rays of light
Filtering through the drapes
And touching me
As only your thoughts can

Have often been touched
By the silent
Entreaties of love
In your eyes.
As I see
Colourful petals in your eyes
Twinkling with joy
Or the dew drops
As your eyes get moist
At some thoughtful lyrics
Of songs
I got specially for you.
Or the ray of light
Emanating from your closed eyes
As you look at me
Your head resting
on my shoulders
