THE MOON WILL NOT UNDERSTAND

The shimmering moon
On the surface of Sea
Looked up and asked me
The reason why
I was sitting
All alone on the beach.
On a still night
Playing with the pebbles. the sand
Of course
I could have told
That in the afternoon
You had walked
With me on the beach
The sand holds your footprints..
close to its heart...

The rocks ..on which you sat
Smiling at me
As I looked into your eyes
Telling me
You know I like to cover
Your head
And you laughed
With me..
The same rock is still
With the poignance of emotions

But
The Moon will not understand
Because I don't think
That moon has ever been in
Love.
