SEARCHING FOR LOVE
She was determined
to be true and left me this day
To catch a passing cloud that had a touch of rose'.
I left to follow what I believed to be her direction
Hoping upon hope she would make me her selection.
She could sense I was coming by the intensity of my light
Never would I pass unto her anything of fright.
I was catching up for her cloud was laden with rain
I knew if I delayed I may never see her again.
Soon she became part of everything to follow
Not realizing that God's eagle was loved no more than the swallow.
I focused on the mirror of the future that was to come
Looking that singular day that would turn two into one.
I searched and searched the sky with my light
Hoping to get a glimpse before the heavenly night.
I looked toward the night time sky and the star to find
The multifaceted diamond that encompasses my mind.
Perhaps it is there our rendezvous will be
To see my beautiful love sitting upon the sea.
